The National Construction Code (NCC) and AS 3600 are placing greater emphasis on durability, water management and weatherproofing in concrete structures. As regulatory requirements continue to evolve, it is increasingly important that designers, manufacturers and builders understand their obligations and the practical measures required to achieve compliant, long-term performance.

This Tech Talk will explore the distinction between weatherproofing and waterproofing, recent and proposed changes to the NCC and AS 3600, regulatory obligations, and practical approaches to managing water penetration in precast concrete structures. Geoff will also recap National Precast's Weatherproofing Guidance Note and discuss what these developments mean for the industry moving forward.

This presentation is ideal for Precasters, Engineers, Architects, Builders and Specifiers seeking to better understand the evolving NCC and AS 3600 requirements relating to weatherproofing, durability and compliance.
